Sundance
Film Festival
January 18 - 28, 2001 (Park City)
Filmmakers around the world looked eagerly to a small ski town in
Utah this week, to see which films had been chosen for screening
at the 2001 Sundance Festival. Although the fest is known for spotlighting
(not to mention launching the careers of) American directors, the
event does feature a World Cinema section, which offers European
directors the chance to screen at the top festival in North America.
