Mikhail Tumelya

Director, animator, artist, scriptwriter.
He was born 18 February 1963 in Minsk. After the graduation from the architecture's department of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute in 1985 he worked at the animation Film Studio “Belarusfilm”. From 1987 to 1989 he studied at the High director's courses at the animation director's department (Norshtein and Nazarov’s School). From 1989 to 1999 he worked at the Minsk Studio “AF-Center” as an animation film director. At present he is a free lance. He is a director and animator. He works in Minsk and Moscow. He is a participant and a prize winner of a great number of the animation film festivals.
