It's the first day of the film festival and the air is buzzing with electricity, finally—the day all of us students at the College International de Cannes have been waiting three and a half months for. Those that acquired internships were equally nervous and excited this morning, so Amanda and I took the opportunity of following up with them at their booths in the Palais. Claire Gavin, (featured in the picture) is interning with Fabrication Films and we could tell she was happy to see familiar faces. "It has been a really hectic afternoon but everyone visiting the booth has been super nice to me, treating me the same as they treat my boss. I know they know I'm just an intern but they're treating me as their equal. It's an experience like I've never had before.
