The New York Television Festival is proud to announce 48 Official Selections to the 2011 Independent Pilot Competition! These talented artists are eligible to win development deals and cash prizes from IFC, MTV, and FX. In addition to the artists selected for the IPC, finalists from other NYTVF initiatives that take place throughout the year – including the Bing Decisions Project, Sony Format Competition and FOX Comedy Script Contest – as well as semi-finalists in the A&E Unscripted Development Pipeline will enjoy designation as Official Artists of the 2011 Festival. Those Official Artists will have exclusive opportunities during the Festival to meet, pitch and network with the NYTVF’s industry partners, including the recently announced NYTVF Pitch Program, created this year with inaugural partners Sundance Channel, MSN and SevenOne International.
