Dimension3 2012 launches the S3D content call campaign for the Festival and we are excited to announces the first ever S3D programs market!

Showcaseof the new dimensions of images for 6 years, Dimension 3 2012 offers a Festival, and for the first time a content market…

In2011, Dimension 3 Festival rewarded Pina3D by Wim Wenders (stereographerAlain Derobe) in the feature film grand prix category. Open to all the S3Dformats, the competition starts today its call for entries 2012.  Participants can register their content untilApril 25th. The award ceremony on June 14th will gather 400international professionals and thanks to the generous support of our sponsorsand partners the winning producers receive a ‘Dimmy Award’ plus prizes such assoftwares, postproduction facilities or free rigs rentals.. The nominatedmovies will be screened over 3 days in a S3D auditorium.

This year, the Forum will alsooffer the first S3D independent contents market. The 3D Market Placewill allow distributors/ producers to register their program on the Marketcatalogue. Buyers will be able to consult registered programs on demand in adedicated screening area.

In order to maximise contacts betweenS3D producers and operators or broadcasters looking for content, Dimension 3organises, in addition to the Market Place, two half days of business meetings.

Distributors, producers and directors of 3D contents willing to take part to the Festivalcompetition need to register their S3D contents into one of these 8 categories:

·  Feature Film (Live action and animation)

·  Short film

·   TV program (one shot orseries)

·  Animation (one shot orseries)

·  Liveacquisition

·  SpecialFormats

·  Advertisment– Corporate – Graphics – Video clip

·  School films
