Third New York City International Film Festival Opens with Saving Grace B. Jones

The Third New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF 2012) presented by NYCIFF Institute will be held August 10-16, 2012 at the NY Film Market, Magno theater, and Tribeca Cinemas. The New York City International Film Festival presents a high-profile platform for emerging and established independent filmmakers from around the world.

This year’s festival will showcase over 100 films (documentaries, features, shorts), exhibitor show, panel discussions, seminars, special events, awards ceremony, and after parties. NYCIFF 2012 Opening Night Gala World Premiere of SAVING GRACE B. JONES, directed by Connie Stevens commence Thursday, August 9, 7:00pm at the Ziegfeld Theater.

NYCIFF 2012 Opening Night Gala will honor Rip Torn (Elmore Rual Torn) with the Lifetime Achievement and Connie Stevens with the Humanitarian Awards. Academy award winner Tatum O’Neal and director Connie Stevens will be present at the Opening Night Gala and After Party at STIR.
