Review: International Premiere of Rat King

The 11th Annual 2012 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF 2012) presented by founding partner American Express International Premiere of RAT KING, directed by Petri Kotwica commenced Thursday, April 19, 6:30 PM at Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, New York. A special Q&A discussion with director Kotwica immediately followed the international premiere.

RAT KING is a powerful psychological technology thriller that seriously depicts the dangers of online gaming. Set in present day Finland, high school senior Juri (Max Ovaska) immersed on his computer day and night with online gaming causing disruption in school and his social life. Just when Juri is about to quit, his friend Niki (Julius Lavonen) introduced Juri into a new mysterious realistic online game that triggers a compelling suspenseful race for his very life. Sci-fi thriller fans are going to love RAT KING, it’s cleverly amazing!
