It
is not surprising to see Tony Bui's film Three Seasons at Deauville
as the film was awarded the Grand Jury Prize, the Audience Award
and Best Cinematography at Sundance 99. Three Seasons was shot in
Vietnam and stars Harvey Keitel. It was also in the official competition
of Berlin 99. Moving Pictures columnist Nick Roddick talked to the
young Vietnamese writer/director about filming back in his homeland.

does for a living. The film and Annabel have been making the festival
circuit this year, from Sundance to Cannes and now in the Avant-Premieres
