IAC's Nora, based on the true story of James Joyce and Nora Barnacle, goes before the cameras in Dublin, Trieste and Hamburg on 23 May.

Ewan McGregor, who stars alongside Susan Lynch, is in Cannes for IAC's distributor dinner tonight. So is Billy Hayes, whose experiences inside a Turkish jail inspired Alan Parker's Midnight Express.

IAC is now boarding the sequel to that film, the Davis Panzer Production's $25 million Midnight Return, which the company is co-financing alongside Advanced Produktion GmbH and Nu Vision/CIE. The new film, which follows Billy's attempts to free a still-imprisoned friend, comes billed as a fast-paced thriller in the style of The Fugitive.

IAC is also arranging financing and handling world sales on Bruce Beresford's $35 million Ataturk. GM
