More about Submitting To The Festival
Located in the heart of London’s West End, the Raindance Film Festival has screened some of the most acclaimed work in independent film, with many of those films submitted to and discovered at Raindance. Now in our 18th year, Raindance has hosted such guests and filmmakers as Christopher Nolan, Shane Meadows, Ken Loach, Marky Ramone, Iggy Pop, Andrea Arnold, Quentin Tarantino, Tom Waits, Kerry Fox and Lou Reed.
A Raindance selection comes with real perks. Filmmakers accompanying their work to the fest are given an all-access pass, opening the doors to screenings, panel discussions, special events, galas, and parties for the duration of the festival. As Raindance is one of the largest and most recognized indie film events in the UK, more and more top distributors are visiting the festival to scout for new talent each year with many films being picked up after Raindance screenings.
