SHORT FILM CORNER
The Short Film Corner launched
in May 2004 and was very successful in its first edition.
The Short Film Corner is a new market entirely dedicated
to short films.
An
overall panorama of short films today
In 2004, the Short Film Corner presented some 450 films, representing
over 100 hours of programs, from 40 different countries. Films were
viewed more than 5 000 times by buyers and film selectors from all
over the world. More than one hundred films were screened as world
premieres.
Privileged
contacts
At the very heart of the Palais des Festivals, the Short Film Corner
is an exceptional occasion for producers to present their films to
a large international audience: broadcasters, publishers, film selectors,
journalists, producers, agents looking for new talents…
A
specialised center
Le Short Film Corner covers a large area and is made up of a screening
room, interactive screens, a bar, a conference room, stands. Every
evening, the traditional "Happy Hour" means discussions
can be continued and new contacts made in a warm and relaxed atmosphere,
glass in hand!
