FIFTH ANNUAL FT. MYERS BEACH FILM FESTIVAL
ISSUES CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Town of Fort Myers Beach is now accepting independent films,
shorts, animated works, and student films to be considered for the
Fourth Annual Fort Myers Beach Film Festival April 21 to April 24,
2005.
All films must be submitted for review in VHS format by March 15,
2005 along with the official Call for Entries form available online
at www.fmbfilmfest.org or by contacting The Town of Fort Myers Beach.
Please indicate the category of film on the VHS tape label--comedy,
drama, documentary, animation.
The four-day festival provides film buffs the opportunity to see
quality independent films and to participate in events designed
to cultivate the spirit of creativity and promote the talents of
local and upcoming filmmakers. The fun-filled schedule includes
filmmaker panel discussions, student filmmaking workshops and an
elegant celebrity gala, in addition to the film screenings at Beach
Theater on Fort Myers Beach.
Fees for submissions are as follows: Shorts of 10 minutes or less
$10;
11 minutes - 20 minutes $20. Films ranging in length from 21 minutes
- 45 minutes are $30 per entry and $50 per entry for films longer
than 45 minutes. Submit with payment to: Fort Myers Beach Film Festival,
