The Fast Track for Film Students
Presentation and rules of the competition, reserved to films schools
"To promote
Film Schools work we are organising the second edition of FastTrack:
an international competition for short films from film universities.
An professional jury of 6 will be judging works eary January 2006.
A final selection will designate two candidates from these nominees:
the prize-winner in the « fiction » category and a second
one in the « animation » category."

The 15 nominees will be publicly screened to the festival audience
on the EICAR campus and a number of international festivals worldwide.
All films must
comply with the following technical conditions :
- Maximum length of 5 to 10 minutes
- Format to be used ( DV, DV Cam, Beta, system PAL)
- French or English subtitles where necessary
- Be accompanied by a synopsis
Each school can
present 3 to 5 films maximum. All costs required to make and ship
the short films are at the school’s own charge. Films will not
be returned.
If you wish to particpate, please complete and send in the entry form
below along with your films before 1st December 2005. You can also
reserve your participation via email to cinergie@cinergie.fr
The Fast Track for Film Students : Awards
FILM SELECTION
-The international jury members, film professionals, and appointed
by Cinergie . .
-No jury member must be, in any way, involved in the production or
distribution of works presented in competition.
-The decision of the international Jury members will be considered
final, and no questions regarding the decisions will be accepted.
