This unique and industry-based Los Angeles competition
will showcase filmmakers and their work from across the world, recognize
the most talented with over 100 multiple awards including Career
Access Meetings, Cash, and Sponsor Awards valued at over $35,000,
and honor their work by bringing them to the attention of the Hollywood
film industry and by promoting them to the world by streaming the
winning films online.

We accept all genres within the three categories including student
films, music videos, experimental, drama, comedy, action, suspense,
etc…

JUDGING
As the Action/Cut Short Film Competition is industry-driven, the
Jury Selection Committees will be composed of working professionals
within the motion picture world including directors, producers,
writers, agents, and film company executives.
The judging parameters will focus on:
Subject Originality
Content Realization
Visual-Storytelling
Production Values
Viewing Engagement of Work
The film industry association at Action/Cut is what separates this
competition from all others, and why we pride ourselves by offering
invaluable services inclusive of the prize awards to provide Hollywood
access with professional contacts and feedback in opening career
advisory doors to the winners. The organizer of this competition
is the Action/Cut Filmmaking Seminar Company located in Los Angeles,
California which provides the most acclaimed 2-day “filmmaking
from A-Z” seminars in the film industry in major film center
cities in the USA and internationally..
