THE ORINDA FILM FESTIVAL
September 23 - 26, 2004

CALL FOR ENTRIES
May 31, 2004 Deadline
The third annual Orinda Film Festival is now accepting submissions for independent features, shorts, and documentary films for the 2004 festival.
The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2004.
The Orinda Film Festival supports films from around the world that inspire, educate, challenge, and provoke audiences to explore other viewpoints and forms of expression. We offer a wide range of categories, including narrative features and shorts, documentaries, animation, experimental films, and music videos.
Our previous festivals have received wide industry, community, and media acclaim establishing a benchmark of quality films for the future. Each year we have continued to expand our festival offerings and are proud to offer many new programs this year, including a spotlight program for emerging high school filmmakers. Additionally, we are excited to announce that the online community triggerstreet.com will be presenting a unique program of short films from around the world. This group of 10 shorts was selected from over 1400 entries voted on by a truly international audience of online film enthusiasts.
We are tremendously supportive of up-and-coming filmmakers and tend to spotlight the talent of independent filmmakers and students. In addition, we also showcase the work of accomplished artists and larger productions featuring celebrity casts and crews.
This year’s 4-day festival takes place September 23-26, 2004 and includes screenings of approximately 80 - 100 films at the historic Orinda Theater, Orinda Library Theater, Community Center, and outdoor Orinda Park venues.
